A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR BRIAN

Tuesday, May 26, 2020

Dear Church family,

WELCOME BACK TO THE CAMPUS! Yesterday, on May 25th, California Governor Newsom authorized faith communities to resume in-person gatherings, to a group size of 25% of legal capacity, to a maximum of 100 people, and with recommended restrictions. In addition, the City of Fresno’s shelter-in-place order is being lifted as of today, May 26.

As I shared this past weekend, our priority is to re-gather a priority on safety. With the marriage of live broadcast and an on-campus service, plus CDC precautions, plus limited contact, there are many details to work out, and we have to step carefully at this moment. Please be patient with us as we exercise both faith and caution.

WE PLAN TO OPEN THE DOORS FOR ON-CAMPUS PUBLIC WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY, MAY 31ST, WITH THE LIMITS LISTED BELOW. This is a blessing, as it is Pentecost Sunday, the day on which we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church. No one should attend if they are uncomfortable being in a group. Those attending will be gracious to those who remain home, and vice versa. We are all re-engaging at our own pace and comfort level.

Here to serve,

Pastor Brian.
